What is a coverlet, and how is it different from a quilt or comforter?

A coverlet is a light top-of-bed layer, thinner and more relaxed than a quilt or comforter and made for draping rather than bundling up. The Waterfront Coverlet keeps that easy, gauzy feel with some volume and warmth, so it works beautifully on its own in warmer months or layered over or under your duvet when the nights cool down. It's also a great way to add a pop of color, pattern, and texture if you prefer to use it solely as a decorative top-of-bed element.

What is the Waterfront Coverlet made of?

The shell is a soft blend of 60% cotton, 25% Tencel, and 15% polyester, with a light 100% polyester fill. Together they give it that ultra-soft, heritage feel and a gentle, lived-in drape that only gets better with time.

Is the Waterfront Coverlet reversible?

It is. It features a striped side and a solid side, both of which are finished to feel equally soft and presentable, so you can flip it whenever you want to refresh the look of your bed or simply suit the mood of the room.

How should the coverlet fit my bed?

This coverlet is made to drape softly over the sides of the bed and settle at about the same length as a standard quilt or duvet. A tailored, layered look is part of its charm, whether you let it hang on its own or fold it back over your other bedding.

Is the Waterfront Coverlet a good choice for warm sleepers?

Yes. It is lightweight and gauzy with a breathable cotton and Tencel shell, so it lays soft and airy without holding onto too much heat. Warm sleepers can use it as their main cover through summer and still feel cool and settled.

Does it come with matching pillow shams?
